The City of Parramatta faced aging Wi-Fi technology across all its offices and locations. The existing infrastructure was nearing end-of-support and no longer met the organisation’s evolving technology needs.
As part of its commitment to advancing technology, the City of Parramatta sought modern solutions that leveraged the latest features and innovations available in the market.
The challenges faced by City of Parramatta were constant dropouts of the wireless services, poor performance, and the inability to troubleshoot effectively. The organisation wanted to enhance their visibility of the Wi-Fi service in order to better support their user base.
City of Parramatta had a much larger transformation at stake, as many of the new services being deployed required strong Wi-fi presence and oversight

Cloud Context and City of Parramatta worked with Juniper to successfully find a solution that was the right-fit for the organisation. Juniper’s new Mist AI technology coupled with it’s Wi-Fi solution was best placed to meet the new requirements of the organisation.
The solution was to refresh the Wi-Fi services in all offices and continue the expansion of Wi-Fi services into car parks, and outdoor assets.
All three organisations worked together to build a bill of materials which both met the budget requirements, and the technical requirements of the organisations.
Wi-Fi services can now be managed, troubleshooted, and monitored from a single-pane of glass, allowing the organisation and Cloud Context to have oversight of Wi-Fi across all locations. The use of the new technology also allows the organisation to continue it’s expansion of Wi-Fi services across the CBD.
